Made for Young Readers

What Children's Publishing Includes

Everything a children's book needs, handled gently and in the right order.

Story Polish for Young Readers

We shape your words for rhythm, repetition and read-aloud flow, keeping the story simple without ever talking down to children.

Illustration Placement & Layout

Art and text are laid out together page by page, so every picture lands exactly where the story needs it.

Age-Right Language Check

Vocabulary, sentence length and themes checked against the age you are writing for, from toddlers to middle grade.

Print Files That Survive Small Hands

Board-book, paperback and hardcover files prepared to printer standards, with safe margins and bold, clear type.

eBooks for Tablets & School Screens

Fixed-layout eBook editions that keep your pictures and words together beautifully on tablets and classroom screens.

A Gentle, Guided Launch

A simple launch plan aimed at parents, teachers and gift buyers, the people who actually buy children's books.

Every Age, Its Own Craft

Three Ages, Three Approaches

A book for a three-year-old and a book for a ten-year-old are different crafts. We work to the age, not around it.

Picture Books, Ages 0 to 4

Very few words, a picture on every page, and a rhythm that begs to be read aloud. Layout and art do most of the storytelling here.

Short, visual, musical

Early Readers, Ages 5 to 8

Short chapters, friendly type and pictures that support new readers without doing the reading for them.

Confidence-building reads

Chapter Books, Ages 9 to 12

Real plots, real chapters and spot illustrations, built for children who read on their own and judge books like adults do.

Common Questions

Questions, Answered Honestly

I have a story but no illustrations. Can you still help?

Yes. Many authors arrive with words only. We can lay the book out around artwork you provide, or help you plan illustration through our illustration service before publishing begins.

What length should a children's book be?

It depends on age. Picture books are usually short enough to read in a few minutes, while chapter books run much longer. In your consultation we will place your story honestly against its age group.

Can parents find the book on Amazon?

Yes. Your book is set up on the major stores in print and eBook, with categories and keywords aimed at how parents and teachers actually search.

Do you publish board books?

Board books need specialist printing, so we will talk honestly about print routes and costs for very young readers before you commit to anything.
